Lite Cable – Rails-free Action Cable

Lite Cable (https://github.com/palkan/litecable) is a lightweight Action Cable implementation with business logic (channels, streams, etc) separated from low-level server implementation.

Out-of-the-box it contains Rack hijack based server (middleware), suitable only for development and test due to its simplicity.

Also compatible with AnyCable.

Check out Sinatra example.
