I built a Ruby bot that reads a YAML file of upcoming Ruby conferences, generates an image with ruby-libgd, and automatically posts it using GitHub Actions. A small project, but a fun reminder that automation and simple scripts can still bring back the hacker spirit. The Joy of Small Scripts: Automating Ruby Community Events
