Very nice article. I was recently talking with a friend about the “auto-include” plugins like RestfulAuth and Attachment-fu and whether or not it is healthy for the community. Is it better to have a common plugin that everyone is familiar with or healthy competition stimulating growth, progression, and options.
Personally, I like my plugins very streamlined and Paperclip has replaced Attachment-fu in my Rails stack.
