I’ll keep using ssh/scp thank you very much! Wrappers like this are rarely useful and utterly fail when you need more complex tasks that require the tools they are abstracting away.
@AnonymousCritic - Maybe this gem has a different use case to yours. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to release and document this. No need for the negativity. Everyone is capable of making a judgement as to its usefulness in their domain. I’m already thinking it may well be useful for a custom deployment.
