Every engineering team has a translator. I wrote the thing that translates

https://ezlogs.hashnode.dev/every-engineering-team-has-a-translator-i-wrote-the-thing-that-translates

A post on the unofficial “translator” role most engineering teams have, and what it turned into. ezlogs is a Ruby gem (paired with a Next.js companion) that captures HTTP requests, Sidekiq jobs, and ActiveRecord callbacks, then correlates them into deterministic plain-language activity logs. No model in the translation loop. Free tier includes the activity log and an MCP server so AI agents can query what happened. Built because I was tired of being the translator on every team I joined.
