Great article,

I’m using Vim pretty the same way like you ( server maintenance / rails development) checkout https://github.com/carlhuda/janus too Hope many users will give vim a try after reading your article. Good job!

Great post! I should really re-try using Vim one day. Got really intimidated the first time and went back to gedit.

You said that you didn’t take the MacVim route. Do you do it in the console? Do you use Terminal.app or something else?

@dusty - plain old terminal. have been using iTerm2 recently too.

Outstanding article,

My Vim story is quite similar - I took vim configuration from a developer I admire, switched theme to ir_black, learned in a similar way and I’m a user of Chromium + Vimium :) Keep up the great work, the more Vim users, the better ;)
