Ruby Directed Graph

I created a Directed Graph gem in pure Ruby, using Redis as the backend store. Check it out and let me know if I did it totally wrong. :)

you have no clue what you’re doing ;)

haha, great job, it’s pretty sweet.

Technically, if you use Redis as a backend, you don’t have something in pure ruby.

Wow Eric, what a douche thing to say. First off, he clarified that he was using Redis, so the implications there was a pure ruby gem plus the addition of a redis back-end. Second, if you’re going to go and criticize people nit-picking at their words, then let’s take a look at your ugly little site http://0xea.com/. “Most businesses need word processing and excel.” - Most business DON’T need excel. If anything, it’s a spreadsheet system they need, but even in that case, that’s only because they don’t have the proper tools for what “most” businesses use it for anyway.

On a happy note, awesome job, Russ Smith! I will be checking this out!

I know you terminated this project, Russ, but I just wanted to say that this was not a “dumb idea”, as shown by the popularity of the redis-graph project: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/redis_graph
