Why is this for sale? You seem to be re-purposing other people’s work.

I guess it depends on the specific irb/ruby license. Are you suggesting that open source code cannot in principle be distributed in a commercial package? Because that is ridiculous.

Do not buy this, Just bought this to test it.

It isn’t an IRB interpreter, the text gets sent over the internet to a server which sends back the response. Useless and slow, do I want my ruby data being sent over the net? no.

What a load of crap trying to sell this!

The MIT/BSD software licenses completely allow bundling of open-source code in commercial products. The GPL/LGPL licenses actually deal with the issue of bundling open-source code.

Awesome! If only more of us in the ruby community charged $1.99 for gems, think of all that we could accomplish…
