Convention over Configuration - Tips for Simpler Gems

Rubygems are being made in huge batches, but the trend is to make them more and more configurable and complicated to setup. This dramatically increases the barrier to entry and slows down innovation. Rubygems should do everything for you, leaving the user to only say require 'your-gem'
