Kicker 2.2.0: A lean, agnostic, flexible file-change watcher, using OS X FSEvents.

I just released version 2.2.0 of Kicker, which now has a generic Ruby tests recipe and a more advanced Rails test recipe. Both should be usable with test-unit tests and specs.

Recipes can now add options as well, which the Ruby recipe uses to specify the command to use for the Ruby/Rails tests. Eg: kicker -b ruby19.

Furthermore, logging the results of an executed command is now customizable, based on ideas of Mustache’s .kick file.

And finally, besides many fixes, a few options were added to control the level of output.

Btw, would be nice to have some way to specify an excerpt of the posted item, so that there’s some control over how long the items look on the front page.
