Read it in Felipe Contreras own words (incl. a patch to fix the ruby gem installation issue(s) / bug(s): Fixing Ruby gems installation once and for all ++ Stop using sudo and installing to system directories by default (Patch) ++ Ruby: for the love of god, stop using sudo (TRIGGER WARNING!) .
