The first spam on RubyFlow :O
There was a massive influx of spam the other day…
We as a community should be able to flag something as spam…

oh wait… is it possible to get these defended with defensio or similar anti-spam?
that’d be sweet.
Luckily none of this appears in the site feed! I changed it the other day so that users have to be approved before their items appear in the feed.
Perhaps I should extend this to the site though as I appreciate not everyone uses the feed..
Oh, and the links are “nofollow” if you’re not an approved user.. so really there’s no motivation for them to do this. That gets rid of most of the problem, but I guess there’s the “last mile” still to resolve!
