When building your ‘webby’ you will be able to choose which environment you work on, be it Rails, or Django or LAMP. In the case of Rais, you will be able to choose which type of ‘serving’ you like, if you want a mix of Mongrels and nginx, or if you preffer Apache + Passenger, and the user will get a ready-to-Deploy webby, with firewall, brute force protection, and high-availability options.
We also bring some new things to the service, options to have iSCSI storage LUNs, for HA, as well as integration to Amazon S3. We will be releasing a video this weekend with the status of where things are, and get everyone who signed up for the beta testing up to speed to where everything is at.
