Steak 1.0.0 released!
The first stable version of Steak is out. You can check out the details in the official announcement but don’t expect a long list of features, Steak claims to be a minimal Acceptance BDD solution, so instead you’ll find a summary about why you should consider Steak as an alternative to Cucumber. I still do not understand why there are so many testing frameworks. Cucumber tried to bridge the gap between business analysts and developers. How effectively it does that is questionable. I agree that most users of Cucumber are developers not analysts.
With that said, couldn’t I just use Rspec instead of Steak? As far as I can tell, the syntax is slightly different but comprehension is the same.
